Lea Malek, now 84, survived the Holocaust at age of 6. She faced her own mother’s avoidance discussing the Holocaust and endured a difficult marriage that lead to a divorce. Lea found hope through her three children who brought light into her life. Balancing her desire to be independent, Lea embraces support from her family and community due to the effects of aging and health concerns.
